THE HARAS PARK IN ANNECY, A GREEN SPACE IN THE HEART OF THE CITY GRAND ANNECY
The landscaped Haras Park in Annecy, covering 2.5 hectares offers a diversity of vegetation with meadows, clearings, groves, herbal tea and fig tree gardens, as well as a 1,600 m² modular fountain square for shows and relaxation. Designed to promote biodiversity (honey plants, habitats for pollinators and birds) and sustainable water management, this iconic location showcases the heritage of the National Stud Farm while welcoming visitors for walks, picnics and family events. It precedes the upcoming opening of the gourmet market hall in spring 2026 and the International City of Animation in June.
LA LUGE DES BOIS, THE NEW FOUR-SEASON ALPINE COASTER
Located just above the Bossonnet platform, la Luge des Bois is the newest fun activity in La Clusaz. Safe and full of thrills, this four-season rail sled is designed for all ages. This intergenerational experience invites you to discover the mountain in a different way, winding through the forest. And to keep the magic going, evening sessions are planned so you can enjoy the ride even after a full day of hiking.
LE FLO LITTLE RANCH
Le Flo Little Ranch in St Jean de Sixt is a unique place offering the discovery of Western riding and the authentic world of the Far West, right in the heart of the mountains. Recently opened, the ranch welcomes visitors in a friendly and immersive atmosphere. Group programs: tailor-made packages for families, friends, or corporate seminars. “A Day in the Life of a Cowboy”: ranch tour, introduction to Western riding, a convivial meal with American-inspired flavors, and a horseback ride facing the stunning Alpine landscapes. Horseback rides and many other activities… Open to everyone, this venue offers a unique opportunity to dive into Western culture in the heart of the mountains.
THE MARATHON DU CLAIR DE LUNE STARTING FROM SOURCES DU LAC D'ANNECY
The iconic night race around Lac d'Annecy takes place on Saturday, 9 May 2026, starting at 8:00 PM in Doussard. A magical route where nature, moonlight and runners' energy come together for an unforgettable and friendly sporting adventure.
LA GUINGUETTE GOURMANDE: THÔNES CELEBRATION OF FOOD & MUSIC
Every year on the first weekend of September, the charming Alpine town of Thônes transforms into a paradise for food lovers: la Guinguette Gourmande. This festive and free event is the ideal getaway for visitors in search of authenticity, good food and good cheer. Around fifty producers, mainly from France, set up shop for three days of gastronomic discoveries. Cheese, charcuterie, wine, Greek, Italian and Portuguese specialities... The atmosphere of a farmers' market blends with a festive atmosphere. Visitors linger in themed bars and enjoy the music scene, which comes alive with concerts of various styles. Cooking demonstrations and workshops punctuate the day, perfect for families and groups of friends alike. La Guiguette Gourmande is a gourmet and festive interlude, just 1.5 hours from Geneva and 2 hours from Lausanne.
LA BALADE AU CLAIR DE LUNE, AN EVENING BY CANDLELIGHT LA CLUSAZ
Nightfall in La Clusaz is always a source of magical moments, in winter as in summer. This year is no exception, and the Moonlit Stroll returns for its 3rd edition. When evening comes and the sky sparkles, the night lights up with a gentle glow; the village switches off all public lighting to fully enjoy this soft summer night. By the glow of candles and torches alone, artists illuminate the streets, and visitors happily discover this intimate route lined with shows, concerts, and surprising characters for one special evening.
LA FERME DE LORETTE: A RARE GLIMPSE INTO THE HEART OF ALPINE CHEESEMAKING THÔNES CŒUR DES VALLÉES High above the valley, on the protected plateau of Beauregard, a Natura 2000 protected site, a family farm has been producing cheese on the same land for over a hundred years.
