Isles of Scilly Travel (IOST) and Skybus are pleased to confirm their attendance at IMM UK this year, offering journalists and content creators the opportunity to meet the Group that has connected visitors to one of the UK's most unique destinations since 1920.
IOST and Skybus connect the Isles of Scilly, with mainland UK, via sea and air services that are as integral to the Scilly experience as the destination itself.
Skybus has recently expanded its network with the adoption of the Newquay-London Gatwick route, creating a seamless link between the coast and the capital, and enabling travel from London to the Isles of Scilly in around three hours.
TravMedia visitors will also be able to learn more about new developments, including:
• Iconic passenger ferry, Scillonian III's final year of service after connecting the mainland with the isles for over 49 years.
• Plans for the new state-of-the-art passenger ferry, Scillonian IV, due to enter service in 2027.
• Skybus' adoption of the London Gatwick-Newquay route, offering twice daily weekday services from February 2026.
IOST marketing manager Sharon Sandercock and PR manager Zoe Bourdeaux will be in attendance to discuss everything the Isles of Scilly has to offer including wildlife, wellbeing, food, events, history and activities plus the latest news from both the sea and air operations.
Whether you sail across the Atlantic on board Scillonian III, which has been named ORCA's best route for wildlife spotting for four consecutive years and takes under three hours, or opt for a quick but breathtaking 20-minute Skybus flight over turquoise waters, the journey itself is an integral part of the experience.
IOST and Skybus offer press and content creator day trips or short breaks, with planned itineraries tailored to story angles and areas of interest.
The Isles of Scilly offers:
• Some of the UK's best beaches
• Wildlife watching
• Wellness activities e.g., yoga, sauna experiences
• Walking
• Island hopping
• Local food scene
• Watersports
• Art and culture
• Stargazing
• Snorkelling with seals
Those attending IMM UK are invited to meet the team to explore story angles and bespoke press trip opportunities.
Sharon and Zoe look forward to connecting with journalists and content creators and sharing why the Isles of Scilly continue to inspire visitors, writers and islanders.
