CROATIA IS READY TO PARTY!
Forests, Fortresses, Islands, Cities and Rivers Take the Spotlight This Summer
London, 23 June 2025 – Croatia's summer festival calendar is one of the most diverse and enchanting in Europe – blending ancient venues with cutting-edge music, cultural tradition with avant-garde expression, and a healthy dose of Adriatic sunshine. Whether you're there for the beats, the bites or the breathtaking views, Croatia knows how to throw a party – and everyone's invited.
Until 6 July | Fort Lovrjenac, Dubrovnik
A festival to be, or not to be missed. Dubrovnik's iconic 11th-century fortress turns into a dazzling open-air theatre for English-language productions. This year, Sheridan's biting comedy The School for Scandal, echoes a Love Island plot but with powdered wigs, vouching that scandalous summer begins here.
Velvet Festival – The Final Fling
25 – 29 June | Medane Beach, Punat, Krk
It's the end of an era. Velvet Festival is bowing out with one last, glorious, sun-soaked, beat-drenched hurrah. Four stages. 50+ acts. Legendary boat parties. Bring your dancing shoes and tissues. It's the last chance to boogie under the Krk stars. Don't miss: A daily boat party, it's the final float.
26 – 29 June | European Square, Zagreb
The Museum of Illusions is turning 10 and throwing a mind-bending street party. Expect immersive exhibits, clever tricks, and all-ages fun right in the heart of the capital. A pop-up tour will follow but be warned: nothing is quite as it seems.
3 – 6 July | Mrežnica River, Donje Primišlje
If you like your music fuzzy, your rivers emerald, and your camping experience celestial, Bear Stone is calling. Expect stoner, doom, psych and desert rock reverberating through pristine woodland. Paddle by day, headbang by night. Ideal for people who think Glastonbury is too tame.
10 – 13 July | Split, Brac, Hvar, Vis
The juggernaut returns. ULTRA Europe celebrates its 11th edition with a star-studded lineup and beats that'll bounce from stadiums to sea caves. The party starts in Split and hops across Croatia's glitziest islands making it into Adriatic-fuelled odyssey.
9 – 15 July | Tisno
The Garden Resort welcomes back over 170 acts for its 10th anniversary – a dreamy fusion of international names and Croatia's finest underground crews. From boat parties to secret island sets and sunrise dance floors, Love International raises the bar high.
17 – 30 July | Grožnjan
Nestled in the hilltops of Istria, Grožnjan becomes a global jazz haven. Picture cobbled streets, Adriatic views and saxophone solos floating through the air. It's intimate, soulful, and impossibly charming – Croatia's best-kept jazzy secret.
18 – 19 July | Nin
TOČ is the festival for those who like their summers slow, their wine local, and their sunsets uninterrupted. Celebrate Dalmatian living with tastings, beach yoga, olive groves and workshops. It's all about tradition, sustainability and blissful idleness.
Summer at St. Michael's Fortress
Until 14 September | Šibenik
High above the Adriatic, a stone fortress transforms into Croatia's classiest stage. Expect a mix of rock, soul, and Croatian icons under a velvet sky. Highlights: Cory Wong (July 8) and Róisín Murphy (Aug 7).
30 July – 3 August | Sound & Vision Camp, Mrežnica River
More glamping than camping, Mystic Mountain is part retreat, part rave. Spend your days doing yoga by the river, and your nights dancing to ambient, psy-chill and ethno-electronic beats.
21 – 24 August | Roswell Cowboy Village, Gorski Kotar
Winner of the Audience Ambassador Award, Foresterra returns to the pine-scented wilds of Gorski Kotar. A lovechild of nature, art and electronic beats, it's a soulful escape with strong sustainability vibes.
31 August | Poličnik
Klapa singing, an age-old Dalmatian tradition and a UNESCO gem, fills the air in Poličnik as summer winds down. No microphones. No autotune. Just pure harmony echoing through the warm twilight – the perfect, poignant Croatian goodbye.
